I am looking for information about the Anglo-Arab stallion Master Cast (Scindian Magic-Hermits Star) born 1973. I would be very interested to see a picture of him as I have got one of his descendants who have just had her first foal this year.
I made contact with his owner in 1996 and he was still alive then but I never managed to go and see him as he was a bit to far away.

He has a few off springs listed and one mare he covered belonged to Miss Bowditch,OXON,who I am sure will remember all the details, I'll ask her when I see her next.. I guess there must be a stud picture somewhere for him. Do you know the name of the STUD that had him.. His sire Scindian Magic was in 1975 with Mrs N.D. Hardcastle, Mill Farm Arabians Stud, Norwich and he has several foals born the same year as Master Cast, stud fee £63.

Mrs Jacqueline Fenton owned him and advertised him in the "Directory of Pure Arabian Studs in the British Ilses 1979/1980". He is listed in the Anglo Arabs standing at stud page 137. I've just managed to get hold of a copy of it this last week. Her address at that time was Home Farm Stud, Little Gaddesden, Herts. I found her name in an old Cleveland Bay Stud Book in 1996 and wrote her a letter which managed to reach her. She was just getting divorced and her surname was Dixon at that time and she had been living in Devon for quite a while. Master Cast was still alive then (September 1996).
She was staying with her sister who seemed to be living at Home Farm Stud but as I never managed to get down to see her I lost the contact then.
