I think Coriolan was owned by Gillian Lancaster of Rowchester Arabians. I think she is in the borders of Scotland, but she might know something.

Phangio (4) (70) raced in 2003 and was placed 5th in the CM Cole Restricted Maiden Stakes. He is listed under a Miss K Kennedy. He also raced in The Mark Sangster Stakes and was 10th.

Hope that's of some interest

The Dam line rings bells for me, Pharissa is the dam of Phariz,( by Nazzerin(won @ AHS)) and has some of Miss Ann Bowditch's breeding (Dorocnia). Phariz won a Desert Marathon in UAE and now stands at stud in West Wales with Mr & Mrs Ian Rawnsley, he was with Um Quarn? before, and has off spings coming on.

Hari was at stud with Miss Bowditch... I saw Miss Bowditch today & also the owners of Phariz, Hope that helps a bit. There are other realy good performance horses from this dam line and just wondering if Bia could check to see if there are any other registerd progeny from this mare... and in some of the AHS news mags, there may be listings of mares at stud with Rowchester.

Hi found some more info; it sounds like this person owns Phangio and now breeds part breds by him:

"Phan does it all he has raced he rides English and Western he hacks he has shown, jumped, long distance, most things

He is a super chap to have and do he has stamped every foal in presence they are all showing strong Arab characteristics so hoping that as he has stamped them so well physically they hopefully will also have his attitude to life I really cant rate him high enough he is one big pleasure never a problem"

Her advert is on horsequest and contact details are 01752 839259 or 07919 342418 (Emma, Devon)

Good luck

Hi just to let you know that I have also bought a foal from Emma in Devon. Apparnetly this year was his first ever lot foals as he was bought as an unproven stallion and she had to licence him. My filly will only be small I think but has the wonderful floating moves of Phangio. I would like to keep in touch with you just to compare how they grow up and change if that is ok. When do you get him? Phingle will be arrving with me in late October early November.
