The one thing we have got good at is trawling for clues and I'm sure most of us have put 2 & 2 together Lynda, you cannot blame yourself for someone else's dishonesty. |

Have to echo Bex here - I haven't been on for a while because it also got too hard for me but what a shame for it to end like this! I would like to thank Lynda for providing me with hours of fun searching for the answers and allsorts of new knowledge gained through this! |

Very Sad enjoyed the quiz, and in my own way if i did not now the answer i would not research,if it rang a bell would give it some thought, but along came an answer,My thought someone is clever, loves their Horses, only for them to be a cheat, more than that a dirty cheat delving into some bodies private things, Maybe they are related to Richard Dixon,People never fail to amaze me,Lynda we feel sorry for you all at the Work and kind thoughts to buy prizes, Nick BBA |

I can't believe what I am reading ! I've not posted much at all lately and admitted defeat on the quiz many weeks ago as too difficult for me but absolutely loved looking in from time to time. How dreadful and unbelievable so sorry after all your hard work. Please if you can bear to leave it up for a while, I would love to have time to browse through and see who I've missed in the last couple of months.
So sorry Lynda and hope that you are not despondant for too long, all your hard work what a stupid thing for someone to have done .

Oh I'm so sad, all the pictures have gone , how can anyone be so selfish as to take away our bit of fun and interest. God I'm so angry for you Lynda and for all of us .

Thanks Nick, Sally and Jen, for you kind words, the pictures are still there, I have yet to get Paula to delete the whole thread, but I will start again in the new year. I have to admit it was strange to find certain people found the answers without clues I mean, without them I couldnt tell one horse from another unless it had certain markings, but with clues, you could research a horse and find the answer. that was the fun of the quiz. the prizes will still be given and hopefully the quiz in the new year wont run as long as this one |

I'd even asked for a couple of new reference books for Christmas so that I could stand some minute hope of rejoining the quiz ! After a keen start I fell by the wayside pretty soon into the running but I still loved looking and finding out who was who and rumaging through my old books and magazines. Senecca she was lovely, think my favourite horse on here, that picture really sticks in my mind plus the little foal Ankh that died . See how it has educated so many of us Lynda! Your efforts were not in vain .

Completely agree that this quiz had been so much fun, educational and (more importantly) interesting!!!! Please don't be sad Lynda - you have kept many people happy and busy over the last "few" pages - just pity the "cheats" - they obviously have nothing better to do and have no desire to learn!!!
And thankyou again Lynda for putting so much time, effort and "heart" into it.

I have to admit I was wondering who Richard Dixon was Nick and girls the new year is not so far away, starting a fresh will be good . I know who the culprits were simply by my trap's so I hope they will have the good grace NOT to enter the new quiz , or I will have to expose them |

I am sure that we all agree that Lynda has put much time and effort into making the quiz both enjoyable and informative and for that I would like to extend my thanks I also find it very sad that it has ended this way. I for one spent far too much time trawling for the answers when I should have been either asleep or doing the housework. I am however a little concerned that some people may be jumping to conclusions about who the 'cheat' is Hasn't everyone who has taken part in the quiz expressed their disgust, so who is the culprit? I may be paranoid, but I have a strong suspicion that I could well be the prime suspect. After all I have answered numerous questions without clues, I should point out that I have often been wrong as well. ALL my answers have either come from trawling the internet, where the information is freely available, or on a couple of occasions where I have just recognised the horse in question, one that comes to mind is Ruminaja Ali whose pedigree I had been looking at the day before. I should point out that it helps if you are able to recognise the type of Arab you are looking for ie. Russian, Crabbet, Egyptian etc. I am typing this (after sitting on my hands for days) not because I have a guilty conscience, but because I am deeply hurt that any of you may for one minute think I have cheated, I promise you I have not. Incidently, I don't have a Flickr account, so quite how I would go about gaining access to someone elses is beyond me.
