I have just returned from stables and have noticed 3 rond lumps on Stazis throat, between his jaw bones.Could this be connected to the lime spreading in his paddock last week? He has a 4 hour journey ahead of him tomorrow to the group show in Alloa and I cant get my vet out today. Has anyone any ideas what would cause this?He seems fine otherwise Susan

It could be a reaction to the wet grass? my horses have huge lumps when they first come in, I asked my vet and he said it was common when grass is rich and wet, they go down over night when they are kept in, nothing to worry about I am sure, but keep him in and see if they go down
Thanks Lynda, good to have you back by the wayI spoke to my vet this afternoon and he told me not to worry too.He is in tonight anyway as I was getting him ready for his first show tomorrow and we have an early start,I should really be in bed! Susan
