Hi guys, am new to all this and know that there are a lot of very knowledgeable people on here so wonder if any of you have any info with regard to the offspring of my mare. Have recently got her aand thanks to a good friend have traced her pedigree very good breeding as far as I can see but now would like to look a bit further: I know she has at least one foal who is registered and that is a filly/mare born 1996 called Silver Vendredi and bred by Mrs J Walker does anyone out there have this horse? Are there any other off spring out there? She had been owned by the same person for the past 10 years before coming to me and dont think that she has bred many pure breds in this time - but are there any foals before this that are registered? Any help would be gratefully received. Many thanks Nick

| Thanks for that guys - great to see what her sire looks like will get around to posting up a pic of Sollie when I work out how!! She is due to foal at anytime but is keeping us waiting and is no nearly a fortnight overdue - unfortunately not a pure bred arab - thus the reason for this post want to know whats out there and might be husband shopping for her in the very near future. | Hi Nikki - once again thanks for the info - will certainly go down that route - just to let everyone know - Sharaz has arrived - Blue Rose Transport did a fantastic job as usual - would reccomend them to anyone - no there is no connection. Anyway still looking for Sollie's daughter come on you guys she must be out there somewhere - anybody know?? |

| Sorry to say cannot find any other registered pure-bred offspring from Silver Solace - only Vendredi - and that includes all relevant Stud books up to Vol. 20, the latest published. Perhaps the Part-bred book, or the NPS may turn up offspring. |

| Nick just an idea, but you may get lucky if you try the ahs-they won't give any details out-but they will forward the letter on to the last reg owner? Give them a ring-worth a try. |

Nick just caught up with this thread - Silver Solace would have been bred by my good friend Sandra Munro in Scotland. I am sure she would be delighted to know that Mirzah's daughter is with you.
Mirzah was the most wonderful deep liver chestnut mare - a good mum and Sandra's pride and joy. Sandra also owned Vain Hussar. I will see if I can find any photos of her.
If you let me have your e.mail address, I will pass it on to Sandra and her daughter Mandy who I am sure will give you info on the family.
