Do any of you ALiner's use the WOW saddle from Flair? If so how do you find them on the arab shape? I desperately need a new saddle for Quinn and having ridden in this saddle, really do like it, but it was on a Highland Pony at the time so I wasn't sure if they would suit arabs.
Anyone have any opinions? I've looked back through the archives to see what saddles everyone prefers and the Ideals do seem to come out on top................might have to look at one of them!

I've a WOW - must be coming up three years this year....Rowan one of my Arabs didn't suit my Ortho-Flex - so after a disasterous dabble with treeless - we settled on a WOW for him & its GREAT! Hes croup high but correctly fitted the WOW doesn't go forward on him. We've three different headplates now - to allow for the alteration in his shape according to his fitness. Our sadler is only an hour over the mountain from us & we take Rowan there for check-ups (important that you do with with WOW for the correct fit).
If you want to chat more about WOWS you can pm me: judith.stirling1@btinternet.com
I am at the moment looking at ordering a saddle from the US to try - totally adjustable & "might" even be better than the WOW or other saddles here in the UK......will keep you posted!! |

I have two Wow's and they are fantastic. The mare I bought it for was short backed and croup high so finding a saddle to fit her that didn't keep creeping up her neck was a nightmare. I did endurance in mine and it was so comfortable. She is now retired due to injury so I have had it adjusted to fit my gelding. His shape changes depending on how much work he does so I can change the gullet plate accordingly. Can only say I wish they had been on the market 10 years ago! |

my friend bought her mare from a place with a beautiful WB gelding who had a WOW it was the first id heard of them or seen them and she said it was amazing, esp as he'd arrived looking like a hat rack and they'd been able to adjust it accordingly as he'd filled out |

Thanks for all your comments guys. Will definitely spend out the money for one then. They are expensive, but well worth it I think given that the saddle can be altered to suit throught the seasons. Once I've persuaded hubby to part with the extra money needed and I'm in possesion of my new saddle, I'll get some pictures up for you!! |

Hi Qui
There's a WOW Dressage Saddle on E-Bay for £900 I was considering one of these but someone told that they have to have air put in quite regularly don't know how true that is or how expensive it would be or how often.

You need to have them checked by the saddler/fitter (as with every saddle!) - When I had mine I had to take horse back for two checks (can't remember the timer interval to make sure the saddle was correctly balanced etc - the saddler only had to alter the ammount of air once....to suit my horse...although I have 3 headplates which we can change as the horse changes shape. |
