I owned a lovely filly by Mizrak she had the most wonderful temperment and was a joy to own.Owned her from 18 months till she was 5.Placed well at local shows both in hand and in her first year under saddle.Due to work i had to let her go and with her new owners she became reserve novice champion in endurance.Unfortunately for me they then sold her to U.A.E where i lost track of her. Last rumour was she was a brood mare in France.
If anybody thinks they can help me trace her she was 15.1 and grey.She will be about 11 and is freezemarked 7GD2.

Hi Andrea,
Acording to Datasource Mizrak had 10 registered get 6 fillies and 4 colts, it also say's only Benedictina bred on and that was a colt,
MERCURY 1999 by EL KAZEEM.
Only three of the fillies are regisered as Grey, is any of these your filly?

Hi Bob,
Yes the filly i owned was Mizelka (Mizrak + Meselka).I am very surprised that Mizrak only had 10 offspring he was a lovely looking stallion.Looks like the brood mare in France was not an accurate lead.

| If my memory serves me correctly Mizrak died in mysterious circustances when owned by a person in Scotland i.e. he had been gelded, I think, and was found dead in the field, but rumour was that a young stallion perhaps caused his death....again please dont quote me. There was a piece written in either Arabian Link, or perhaps The Arabian Mag., but think it was Arabian Link regarding two horses dying at this prson's stud and being "Welfare cases". I believe the RSPCA was involved. |
