So glad to hear that you have tracked Belle down, when I first saw all this palaver about the auction I must admit one of my first thoughts was to wonder about Belle and the baby  .
I can't believe that MA didn't pass on vital information about her particular foaling procedure/difficulties, unbelievable  !

Hi, me again!
Has anybody any idea where two mares are that MA had.
The first one is Pasadena who was due to foal on 1st April, and the second one is Pahira who is due to foal on 15th April.
Their owner has emailed me and is frantic with worry - they aren't paid for yet and she had no idea anything was wrong!
Obviously I said we would try and help her.....

OH MY GOD! They are still owned by the lady in Germany????
I am sure that had we known this before something could have been done to move the horses from her partners care and into the hands of someone more experienced. The reason they had to be left with him was because everyone was of the understanding that those horses actually BELONGED to M.A.D !
There is a lady on here who lives nearby and has been checking the mares but I have not heard of them foaling yet.... If they haven't foaled by now I would think it is too late to move them. There are a few of us with spare boxes but to move them now would cause too much stress unless they are 'old pros'....
What a sorry situation

Annie, I am so glad you have found Belle, and given her new owner the vital info that she needs. I can't believe that "someone" could sell a horse and not pass on important information, are there no limits to this persons deception????
I wish I could help with the other 2 mares, I am not surprised the old owner is worried. Good luck and I hope that information is forthcoming.
I know it is impossible but I wish we could post photo's of "wrong doers", so that we can all avoid them in the future!!!!

Hi Michelle,
I have just re-checked my email from her and she definitely still owns these two mares as MA D has not paid for them.
I have passed on the phone number of the vet used in case he might be able to help her in the first instance - just maybe he would know if they have foaled. It's just a small chance. |

It was Louisejo who lived near by and was keeping an eye on them as Michelle said, so maybe try and get in touch with her? If AM's partner had come clean about these mares being unpaid for so not hers they could have been in a safe place weeks ago This whole thing just gets worse and worse, though I have to say nothing she has done surprises me. I was shot down in flames by people on this forum leaping to her defence when I criticised her care and breeding practices with her poor dogs. It was clear what she was doing was terrible, yet people who had only "met" her in cyber space thought she was a lovely person. |
