Does anybody know the whereabouts of BELLE EL JAMAAL?
She has been exported and I need to know where she is urgently.

The sales advert placed on elite-horse tradings, mentions her 2006 foal was exported to UAE. Maybe the same people bought the mare when she came up for sale!? Or maybe they kept tabs on where she went!?

| I would have thought that the AHS have to be informed of exports, so that the relevant paper work is correct - try giving them a ring, if you haven't already done so. |

Yes, going to ring the AHS on Monday, fingers crossed.
I have been reliably told she went to Germany (which hopefully would be OK) but I simply must get in touch with her new owners urgently.
The filly foal did go to the UAE, I do know that.
Sorry I can't be more explicit on here.

If it's of help, if you post her breeding, DOB, etc, I can check with the UAE Registry (I live in the UAE) if they have any record of her here. |

Thanks for your help.
Impossible to ask the person I sold her to - does Marie-Ann Davies ring any bells!!!! Enough said...
If the person who bought her doesn't have vital information about Belle foaling, then this baby, and subsequent babies will probably not survive - hence the panic.
Obviously I told Marie-Ann this when she was sold, but I am pretty certain, knowing what I know now, that this information will not have been passed on when she was sold, (amongst other things).
I don't know when this baby is due, but it must be about now.
I think I will put a post on the SE Form.
I'll keep you posted.

Contact DEFRA at Page Street. Direct Line Tel No. 020 7904 6584 or 6585 first thing tomorrow morning as they would have issued the Export Licence. If you explain your concerns to them I am sure they will be helpful and they will be able to give you the name and address she would have gone to according to the paperwork. |

I have been contacted by somebody in Germany who knows the first name of the lady who has bought her. Hopefully the German Registry will release her name and address so that I can contact her direct.

| Hi the vet that did the A.I. etc was Newnham Court vet in Bearstead, Maidstone, Kent. I assume they delt with the export etc Good luck. |

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!! I'VE FOUND HER, and have just talked to her lovely new "Mum", and she adores Belle.
As suspected she knew nothing about any problems at all, and has not received any papers at all and Belle is due to foal in the next couple of days, talk about the 11th hour..... anyway thanks to everybody Belle should now have a healthy lively baby. I just feel SO relieved.
I will let you know what she has.
Rachael, you wouldn't by any chance have the phone number of the AI vet in Kent would you, or at least the practice name and I can find it and at least try and sort out this problem.

Hi, I am so pleased that you have found her, I was sure she was not going to foal yet, but there we go, you can't trust a word that she say's . At least now mum and baby will be well looked after, and a live foal. Well done Arabian Lines, another life saved. Keep us updated and lots of pictures please.
