Sorry, shouldn't really ask! But I'm actually really interested to see what sort of age everyone is, mainly because I'm looking at getting another arab and keep getting comments like "they're for mad teenagers"!!!
So just want to prove everyone wrong and be able to say that perfectly sane older folks can also own your average "scatty, flighty, ayrab"(tongue firmly in cheek!)!!!
Just to start off I'm now the much older and none the wiser age of 33! x (feel free to give a rough age group if you'd rather!)

I was physically 40 on the 29th of march this year
mentally I think at a push 18 to 20
should they be a jump or pony game involved 10 to 12
Does that answer your question where horses are involved you can put me in the mad teenager group at any age |

See that's what I love about the arab world - the fact that a lot of arab owner/riders are in fact actually "mad teenagers" at heart, and the fact that the arab, in general as a breed, allows us to still act 18 in relative safety!!
Wow, I really admire everyone who's growing old disgracefully and still out there competing/breaking in etc etc!! Says a lot for the arabian I think! x |

I'm 29. My mother bought her first horse (an arab, naturally!) aged 48. Total nonsense that they are for teenagers!! |
