Hello everyone
Just had to share - getting myself a bit worked up so thought writing it down would help!
We are sadly selling our farm and was terrified of going on livery also with 5 to move finding somewhere with the space was proving difficult. We have been on our 'own' for about 7 years now and the thought of them getting used to a livery was making me feel sick.
Anyway!! Heard yesterday of a field with stables to rent, shot off and thought it was a barn and field that looked a bit rough but had potential - anyway found where the man who owns it lives and on way down the lane admired the lovely field and stables. Turns out it is them!! 6 stables wooden Derby house types, self made area fenced off for schooling and 5 acres and a turnout for £75 a week!! I nearly cried when he said i could have it!!
Fingers crossed it all goes to plan, said id take him a deposit next week when i know how the farm auction has gone.
Just have to find somewhere for us to live now - there is a house to rent at the top of the lane which i really want but my other half wants to buy - can't get it into his head that we won't have time to buy after the auction (28days) and renting would give us a breather from the constant hassle of interest rates!!
