Well today a friend who is visiting between" USA showjumping Groom jobs" , took my horse Telstaar ( Sky Herald/Nejmet) 17year old,out for a 15min tootle round the little block. He has been off work since November. I said to her " just go up the hill, second right, then just keep turning right and you will come home, Telstaar knows the way " Well, off they went and didn't come back for ages, so we rang her mobile phone. She was about three miles away and had gone round the 6mile block. They arrived back, eventually. "why did you go that way?" I said. "oh" she said " he insisted we turned right and I thought I must have missed the first turning, so as he was SO sure , we went this way, and he was striding out all the way, he knew were he was going" It must be 4 years since we went down that road ( only the once as its slippy going down the hill)and we only we do that block anti clockwise/uphill, but he had remembered the way. He had really enjoyed his little jolly today. As they say "its no good getting old if you don,t get artfull!! " not only did he know the way, he obviously knew the score too!   polly

He has the best " who? ME? butter wouldn't melt" expression I have ever seen. of course the fact that he is devestatingly handsome ( well, neck up he is !) allows him to get away with most things.
