Just heard on the radio that there is going to be new legislation for garden lawnmovers (petrol diesel push and ride on) that they will have to be test to comply with CO2 emissions. Also get this they are also thinking about air bags and seatbelts what is this country coming to its just another tax.
Since posting this I found this on a government web site that list all new legislation.
Lawnmowers and chainsaws
Petrol-driven lawnmowers, hedge trimmers and chainsaws are in line for stricter pollution emission standards under proposed new legislation designed to tackle smog and air pollution. Described as 'non-road mobile machinery', the proposal seeks to bring in tighter controls on hydrocarbon and nitrogen oxide emissions from a range of gardening equipment, in line with limits already in force in the United States.
