My dog gets this if she is out in the wind. It normally clears up on its own and my vet said it isn't normally anything to worry about. Hope that helps x |

My cats get it too! usually clears up, sometimes have to get drops from vet, but usually fine, Unless they have been fighting then it takes a bit longer.

Just going slightly off the subject here (sorry jayne) I have a couple of farm cats I have at the stables "Tiger & Ginger" they are semi wild but you can get within 1 foot or so at feeding time. Anyway poor ginger has been in a scrape with something and had got a nasty nick on his ear......NO chance of catching him the little monkey, so I waited till feeding time when he was happily tucking into some left over fish bits & aimed my wound powder at his ear & sqezzed.....poor cats got a white face now bless, but its healing nicely, only problem is Ginger now hates me
Sarah
They actually do an excellent job of keeping mice away or eating them etc, one problem I did have a couple of yrs back was they caught a pheasent (spelling) and some how got it into my tack room and they next day OMG what a mess feathers everywhere...stuff knocked off my shelves NIGHTMARE. Tiger is (I Think exspecting Kittens) she had a litter last yr, they were gorgeous, will post pictures if and when she has any babies. |

as i feared Kitty's eye problem was fighting with her daughter, she had taken the skin of of the inside of the eye, very nasty has happened before, hence i have now cut all their nails really short! |
