I know there are some people on here who are really good with pedigrees.
I have sent for a crabbet certificate and after reading on here that it can take up to a year, I thought I would ask if anyone knew if he was all Crabbet/Old English?
Sorry I do not know how to post a link but his pedigree is in all breeds.
Blue Fuego 1986, Sire El Muntse Dam Blue Finda.
A couple of people have showed an interest in using him and I had thought about putting an advert in the Arab magazine here but want to be sure that what I say is correct.

I'm no expert but there's a lot of Crabbett also has a line to Courthouse through Ormeena. Double Algol in there which would'nt be classed as Crabbet but OE and some Polish through White Lightening.

At a guess I would think he should be over 75% but best to get the experts to work it out properly for you

Hi there, Blue Fuego will be 85-90% Crabbet as a guestimate with Crabbet/Old English and Polish bloodlines. Incidentally we are trying to catch up with Crabbet Certificates at the moment and Blue Fuego is currently lying 7th in the queue. I am always happy to give people a rough guestimate by email if I can - to be going on with. Alexia

Hi 'Wurzel',

Found some faults in his pedigree at allbreed, but I've correct them!
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/blue+fuego

I've also count out his percentage and it will be fun to see if it match when you get the certificate!
He is 93,75% 'English' incl. 85,8% Crabbet (OE/GSB ?) and 6,25% Polish (through White Lightning).

I must say wow, wow... he is bay!!!
Good luck with him!

Bia

Thanks for all the information. I found this paragraph on a Crabbet site.

The non-Crabbet backgrounds of Skowronek, Jeruan, Dargee, and El Lahr are not considered Crabbet when found in pedigrees through sources other than Skowronek, Jeruan, Dargee, and El Lahr.

Does this mean that when Skowronek apears on a pedigree it is considered Crabbet?

Yes Andrea it is Spider I am talking about.
