Several years ago at our last place - I was very kindly offered the use of a neighbours stallion if wanted - to cover my now late Arab mare Zahera (Midnight Gold/Silver Fawn)......... I really didn't know where to put myself in answering our neighbour without offending him - as he thought highly of his stallion & it was coloured & threw coloured foals! I tackfully pointed out that Zahera was 15hh & his stallion was all of 12hh!!! To which he replied - that we could stand my mare in a deep ditch & his boy would manage to do his business!!!! Yes well...............
To this day it really makes me  to think what poor Zahera would have though of it all if I had taken him up on his very kind offer!!!
