Hi - Just wondering if anyone can help?
Walfrieds Neptun 1987 (Mlecha x Fire-fly) a.k.a Pasha to his friends, sired 2 babies before he was gelded and we brought him. I would love to know who they are and if they've produced any offspring themselves... any info would be greatly appreciated.
He was bred by Mr Walraven if that helps.

OMG!! Hi Angie!! I will send mum your email address as she'd love to catch-up with you - you wait till I tell her she is going to be so pleased with me!!
There is so much to tell - Pasha (Neptun) is doing fantastically - he is our dream horse come true - and he thoroughly knows it! It is him in my sig from last year doing dressage and showing... he got a new trailer this year so we will be out and about loads - maybe you could come and see him at one of the shows? |

Sarah that is wonderful What a lucky lucky boy, as you know I had him from 4 months old till he was sold to your family to hear that he is still with you is amazing (I actually have a few tears in my eyes) He always was an exceptional boy, wonderful temperament and totally true. I loved this horse so much and I know your mum did too. I know after her accident she was unsure about what to do with him, then we lost contact etc. Please do pass my email on to her be delighted to catch up.
Can't believe he is 19 now, bet he is as strong and fit as ever |

I look in AHA database and 'Pasha' has only one registered offspring (Asran Amia) but also a granddoughter born 1996 chestnut by Golden Silver x 'Amia'! She is bred by Miss Natascha M Risby.

Don't Angie he makes me and Mum want to cry all the time as he is just so wonderful! Believe me he will be with us forever!! For about 10 years after mum had the accident he was just hacked out by me at weekends as I just wasn't interested in riding really (university, working in the City etc), then for some reason a couple of years ago I really got back into it and Pash just fell back into work like he's never been away!
He's definately as muscley as ever! His shoulders are huge! So huge I cannot get a dressage saddle to fit him - even made to measure! Bless him. I will get mum to email you and fill you in - she's also got pics and vids she could send you so you can see what he's been up to. |

Ahhh thanks so much. Made my day
I have so many fond memories of growing up with that lovely boy, getting 3rd with him at Malvern as a 3 year old colt in a huge class was one of the best - big bay russian lumps like him were not all that common back then, but his quality was undeniable - does his coat still have that gold lustre?
Won't bombard you here with any more questions - will wait to catch up proper over the email.

I'll let Mum email you as he is her baby after all - but yes he is still a gorgeous golden bay in the Summer and a lovely deep Mahogany in the winter (when he's not pretending to be a mud monster)!
I took him to the SEAHG ridden clinic last Sunday and Pat Smedley couldn't believe he was nearly 20! She said he had a lovely face and we'd have loads of fun showing him this year... I can't wait!
Thanks so much Angie - first for parting with him all those years ago and for today - you've made my day too... Neptun is our whole world!! |

Been racking my brains as to who the other foal was and have remembered he was by N out of The Lady Helena (who by coincedence is also now owned by Natasha Risby). I loaned the mare to friends Sue Wood in foal to N and she produced a chestnut colt from memory. He was corking but I am not sure what happened to him as he was sold as a yearling (from memory) I can let your mum have Sue's address to contact her as she may be able to shed more light as to where the colt went and what he was called. Natasha brought The Lady helena after she weaned the colt and she went to live with Amiah. So in effect The Lady Helena had produced Amiah's half brother both by N. Your mum met Sue when she collected Pasha as he was at her yard back then, Sue was really fond of him too - what a small circle of friends he had...lol |
