Now I know that you are all much cleverer than me......but just in case.....When you send back your AHS Voting paper you are asked to put your membership number on the envelope that goes to the Scrutineers. I haven't a clue what my membership number is but that's not a problem as it always appears on the envelope from the AHS. There it is, above the address block - seemed a little unfamiliar but must be right. WRONG!!! The number goes something like 1281/318 and IT IS NOTHING TO DO with the AHS. It is some sort of reference number for the office that mails out the papers. My envelope is already in the post with the duff number on it so I now have to try and sort that out - it will obviously invalidate my vote. Thought I'd better warn you all just in case any of you are as blonde as me!!
