opal seems to have knocked his leg while riding yesterday and it is a little filled and hot today. i use equilibrium stretch and flex boots for hacking and flatwork but as he does brush in front i think we need something stronger with a proper strike pad. i like the fit of the equlibrium ones so was considering the tri zone boots as other boots we've had are too big in cob and a bit small in pony but what do you use on your twig legged creatures? or should i ride him in tendon boots all the time if something like this is going to happen as i like the protection and support with these?
I use Stretch & Flex training boots for hacking and Tri-Zone boots for schooling/jumping. The fit Zak really well and the different widths are great. He wears size 2 Narrow in front and size 2 behind.
