A friend kindly scanned some old photo's in for me.
Not arabian but another breed close to my heart.
These were taken in 1987, so I was only 20 when these pics were taken (see I haven't always been fat  ).
I used to keep Perissa at this yard were the owner bred New Forest Ponies. I took a shine to this filly, she was so friendly despite being virtually unhandled.
She was three years old and this was her very first time being led without following the others.
Isn't she a poppet
and

Champion at the New Forest Show

What a little superstar, she was lovely Vera. New Forest are aslo one of my favourite native breed, my first pony, Dolly was a bay new forest and we had so much fun together. Love the Sweater!!!

Actually I had my heart broken over her. Once I'd started to do things with her (with quite a lot of success in the show ring including beating her own sire) and backed her, the yard owner's daughter took an interest.
I was cast aside yet it was me that had seen her potential. Anyway she was sold for quite a lot of money.
