Beau had the physio today who says he has lost a muscle tone over back (one muscle both sides) will need to massage daily + do loads of canter work in school/lunge (everyday) problem is i am in my final yr at uni, course works by 5 wks uni then 5 wks working full time in practice. so exercising daily would be a real struggle + my yard has no school + field not great to ride in. So am thinking should i get a sharer - then - do you charge etc - any thoughts, also should i send him off to be intensely schooled professionally physio says atleast 12 wks work needed. What do people think; any advice please
Personally, if you could afford to I would send him to someone professional for those 12 weeks. If you can find somebody that you really trust then you can stop worrying a bit and let them get him back to where he should be. Loaning is a bit of a mine-field as I'm sure many on here would agree with lately especially if you are looking for someone in a hurry. Good luck!
ps does it have to happen immediately? Could he not be turned away until you have more time? Just a thought .

Not sure that a sharer is a good idea if your horse already has problems. Over the years I've had 2 sharers for my Cob mare. The first was quite good and stayed with me for about 2yrs, until Brambles dumped her and p****d of back home, leaving her to walk. The second lady only lasted 3 weeks, but did so much damage to my horses back that it took me months to get it right again and cost a fortune in Osteo fees. If you can afford it much better to send the horse away.
