Two of my mares have Ashar (The Shah x Ghazali) in their female line. I don't know much about Ashar personally, but my mares are both out of Bint Ashara out of Ashara by Ashar. Does this help? If you want photos of them I can email.

The middle two pics in my signature are the two mares out of Bint Ashara, they are full sisters by Taj el Nil. They are so totally different, not only in looks but temperament too. I wish I had a photo of Bint Ashara that I could share, but sadly not.
Kyra (the bay in my sig) looks more like her mother, but with a more refined head. Bint Ashara is a dark bay, so I presume she took her colour from The Shah line.
