my colt is called silver zaanif, i get the silver part but any ideas on the Zaanif part?

I had a look but can't find that name, I got my foals name from the internet.
I just put in: Arabic horse names, it gives you the names and meanings.

Is he descended from Hanif - his name may be a derivation of Hanif and Silver Vanity (his sire) or from his dam?

Ahhhh, i had wondered if it was from the Hanif part of his pedigree, i just couldnt twig the other bit, Hanif is my colt's great grandfather..
