Here is a picture of Lavado. He was bred in Spain in 1976 and imported into the UK by the Hedleys in 1977. He was a very sweet natured stallion. He sired some very sucessful show fillies including Rialla (ex Abha Kuria), Silver Fashion (ex Shah Fashion)and Ammelita Bint Lavado (ex Amaveda)
Who is Naseera's dam? If she was one of the Hedleys mares it's possible I may have known her.
He is lovely, quite similar to Tallie even though hes back through the lines a bit. Naseera's mum is Maria Bint Lavado? Lovely bunch of horses. Thanks for the information!
I have only just picked up this thread so I hope you will still be looking for more info. I bred AA Naseera Bint Lavado (Daisy) and sold her to Acorn Arabians who managed to change her registered name, hence the prefix. I then lost touch with Daisy and by good fortune and "quality detective work" was able to locate her new owners via Chris James who spotted them at Malvern 2006 in the Western Classes.
I still have her relatives - 1 pure bred Oscar Dareem (RA Scimitar/Maria bint Lavado, 1 Anglo Antsar Law (Criminal Law/Maria bint Lavado) picture on North Staffs AHS website under members pics, and 1 Part Bred Antsar Saffia (Strinesdale Matador/Maria Bint Lavado)and we have bred from her Antsar Maria PBA (Pickmere Kismet/Antsar Saffia).
