I have posted this in other areas of AL before, without luck, so I'm trying again here!
I am desperately keen to hear from anyone who owns purebreds from the dam line Seglawi Jedran of Ibn Ed Derri (from the Blunt import Basilisk) - especially the stallion Kazdah and any mares bred by Dr June Alexander. Names to look for in pedigrees on the bottom line include Scindy, Saidi, Aminah, Annisah, Latifah and Arami.
Please let me know if you have - or know of - any horses of this line!

If I am correct Kirsty Brown has a mare bred by Dr June, called Marzooka (sorry if spelling is wrong). She will probably see this post soon. |

I sold Arami in 1997 to a woman in Leicestersire who sold her on about 6 months later. There was an article in Arabian Link about Arami doing endurance circa 1998.
I have been unable to trace her myself. |

Thanks to all of you who responded so far - howevere, I already know about these horses, I am hoping that AL will help me find the others out there!
Spirit, Marzooka, although bred by Dr June, is a Kehilan Rodania, not from the Scindy dam line (I have her half-brother, Roupert).
Alison, I knew about Arami's movements as far as you have been able to trace her: Dr June was very keen to track her down but had no luck
Please folks, if you hear of any others, let me know! Annissah went to a lady in the Cheshire/Merseyside area as far as I can remember, and had I think 2 daughters by Polish stallion/s for her. I don't think any other line exccept that from Saidi has bred on (through Scindy and Viewless Wings), but I am desperately keen to find out where the others are!

Keren, may we have Arami's sire and dam? Also her age and colour would be useful as would last known owner and whereabouts I will post on some other horsey forums and ask around. |

Arami seal bay 14.3 - 15hh seal bay mare, three white socks, two fore, one off hind. No white on face.
Sire: Bay Aramis Dam: Doosti
If anyone has the patience and fortitude to look through Arabian Link magazine circa 1998 and has archive issues, then there is a photo and short article on Arami doing endurance. I am sure she was 'down South' but that really is not much help.
I too would like to know she is OK - I had a hideous accident involving her, which is why I sold her on as I lost my confidence. |
