Hi Lindsay,my uncle had Silver Domino on loan from Richard and Carol Carpenter some years ago,so i should have some photos somewhere, will sort them out and e-mail them to you, computer skills allowing that is.He was very fondly known at home as Bouncer and he had the most fabulous temperament i have ever come across in a stallion, but was still all man where the ladies were concerned. He was a real gentleman whilst covering in-hand or would run with his mare's and knew exactly when the time was right.

I've tried CArol again but still no joy and from what I picked up from her he was in Russia for a while, after that I'm not sure. Anything would be fantastic. |

I have e-mailed Carol to ask where he was when he was in the UK. I think Gadebrook had him for a while but apart from that I'm not sure. Sorry... |

Mrs Wright bred Red Shadow so I think that might have been the last person to have him as 'Sunny' was one of his last foals. Still trying Carol but last I heard her PC had gone on strike. I'll keep trying. Thanks for all your help. |

Hi Lindsay, sorry it has taken me so long, but i have now found two pictures of Silver Domino, have no idea how to post photo's onto AL,so if you could send me your e-mail address i should be able to scan them and will then send them to you. Did i see somewhere that your mare's sire was by Silver Domino x Sea Gem,if so would it be possible for you to post a picture of him,if i am correct this is the colt bred at my uncles farm,by my cousin Mrs D Hayes, she sold him to someone in Scotland when he was two years old,if it is the same horse,he is a chestnut and was a beautifully natured colt with an extremely short pretty head.

Yes that would be him, he was bred by a Mrs Hayes. He is now registered as Red Shadow and I will post some photos later on of him for you. I will also post a couple of two of his otehr daughters as well. |
