I think Ramilla (Mares) is 1991, Maleikero is 1993, Ras Al Jadi is 1993, Luzhanas Stargazer is 1994, Storm Seeker is 1994 - so quite a few calming influences |

I believe the great IMAD was 16 when he was Champion at HOYS, Arabs are like a good wine and get better with age,as they seem to take a long time to mature, like most top eventers they tend to be in their teens, |

well, I will try to qualify my girl next year...she'll be 21! so beat that!!! and can I ask, does anyone know how old Crystal Magician was when he was retired? My girl is a grand daughter, and I think she is just getting better and better...she just refuses to be retired...she gets grumpy if I don't take her to shows...silly old thing..we don't do that many, cos then she gets ired, but the ones we do, we try to do well! |

I'm not sure when Crystal Magician retired (speak to Cullinghurst), but he was born 1977 and died in 2004. |

Veteran you are thinking of is Magic Hussar, a grey horse with unusual markings on his face, and a heartwarming story in Your Horse or somehthing similar at the time as he was rescued i think?! Anyway, he's also pictured in the AHS news as they won the pairs at Malvern side saddle... goes to show they mature and get better with age!! |
