Having missed all the shows this year, I was so pleased to receive this photo today of Madeleine Sutherland's Saniah GFA in the process of winning her foal class at Malvern. Saniah is by Madeleine's Sanadik el Shaklan son, Sanbinec GFA, out of her home-bred Saniffa GFA. I really missed being able to say 'congratulations!' in person at Malvern, so thought it would be nice to say it here.
I remember when Sanbinec arrived from Germany as a weaned foal, I was staying at Madeleine’s for an in-hand showing clinic and it was the first time I’d met her. Seeing the picture of Saniah made me reflect on how fast time passes and how much things change! Since that first meeting Madeleine has become a good friend, and Sanbinec is all grown up and has done a great job with his first foal crop - two lovely fillies, you can't beat that! Sadly my foray into in-hand showing never really got started due to me becoming ill.
The photo of Saniah really lifted my spirits today - thanks Madeleine for taking the time to share a bit of your special moment at Malvern with me, you know how much I would have loved to have been there.

Hi Renee,
Thanks so much for sharing this lovely photo. I can confirm that she is even prettier than her picture! I missed her in the ring as well as I was helping Grace and Parabola to get ready for the veterans.
Was that the same in hand clinic that I met you?
Are you going to Towerlands? Hope you are well.

I think it might have been where we first met!
You'll know by now I'm not at Towerlands, unfortunately, a bit too far for me to travel at the moment. Hope you all had a good time!

Hi Renee,
Just logged on after a really busy weekend at Towerlands and saw your post about my girl. Thanks very much for that, it meant alot to me. Saniah was rejected as a foal and the first few hours of her life were pretty stressful so it made it all the more fantastic for her to win the weaned foal class.
