I really meant to say that up to date, he has produced better than his older US sons, but time will tell, it's early days yet. I have seen so many Psyche bloodlines in the US when judging or reporting. I personally think that he will prove to have the influence world wide that El Shaklan has in so many countries. Psyches Spirit is certainly off to a great start with his babies. Liz Salmon

Asmara, have you seen Psynergy. If so, how does he compare with Spirit. I know they are both beautiful stallins. Has Spirit showed against Psynergy? |

I saw Psynergy shortly after his arrival in England and was really impressed with what i saw. I just wanted to wait until the later part of this year to see how he really matured. Must say, not disappointed at all, he is something. I have also seen Spirit who is equally a beautiful horse. He has the most beautiful coat colour and boy can he move. He looked so powerful(must add, thought he was robbed at the Nationals)! In my humble opinion, although related and Padron stamped these boys well, they are different to one another and have different qualities to offer each mare and owner. My suggestion, us both and really spoil yourself with some really typey stunning foalies!

Sorry for the delay in replying, a small computer hitch!!
To Lisa: Lady Madonna's dam is the lovely National Winner Marih Lela by Nazdrowie. I was fortunate to be able to purchase her from Pauline Brown shortly before her tragic and untimely death in 1999. Pauline had owned her from a foal and I know would be very proud of 'Emma' and her lovely daughters.
To Fiona: Thank you always for your loyalty and support. You have been Spirit's Number 1 fan since his first show as a yearling at Malvern. I hope you can come and see us soon.
To Masterpiece: Thank you for your email and interest. Our website is www.argoshillarabians.com. Psyche's Spirit is owned and bred by myself and the story on how this came to be is at www.argoshillarabians.com/spirit_of_adventure.html How wonderful that you own the dam of Padrons Psyche. Spirit has never competed against Psynergy, Spirit is a 5 year old stallion and Psynergy is a 3 year old colt. Apart from as a foal, 2003 was Psynergy's show debut with the Jones Family. Psyche's Spirit has beaten all Psyche sons he has directly competed against, two of which were at Aachan and Paris. However, it is his success as a sire that gives us the most joy.
We are hoping to hold our first open day in 2004. All are welcome and we hope you can all make it. I will let you know when we have a date.
Thank you for all your kind words and I will reply to all emails ASAP.

Heather, thank you for the nice comments about our horses and what a pleasure it is to see other breeders across the country breeding to Padrons Pysche. Spirit is a beautiful stallion and his foals look equally beautiful. If we travel to the U.K. we will be sure to visit your farm. One more thing Heather, I will send you some pictures of Kilika's 5 month old colt who is by a Padron son, he is really striking. Talk to you soon and congradulations on your successful showing.
