Are,nt they lovely? im so proud! This is Taragun by Shogun out of Taretta by Ghibli,flying the flag for the ( old english ) arab,we bred Tari ,and Rochelle who owns her now very kindly let me put the picture here because its lovely,and so nice to see an arab being riddn by a child,dont you think so??? And its also lovely to see OUR BLOODLINES in action!!!  Go Tari go!!!!
P.s,sorry its so large i dont know how to resize it!!!

Yes we are so proud of Evie - she's only 11 years old and she loves cross country. And as for Taragun - what can I say - the Beautiful and Talented Taragun. Bloodlines I've wanted for years and she's even better in reality than I had ever hoped for!!
Evie has this photo in her room and I keep going in just to look at it and it brings a tear to my eye every time I look at it. Even more special because only 6 days before this, Evie had had an horrfic fall at a 3 element coffin and finished up at hospital. She's got guts and determination! She wants to be on the British Olympic Three Day Event team on a horse with Arab breeding. Something tells me she just might do it.
Go Evie - fly the flag for Arabs!!!!!!!!
And thanks Libby for posting this, and for breeding Taragun. And thanks Lisa for letting us buy this wonderful, wonderful lady. |

What a fabulous horse - gorgeous, ears forward, athletic, willing, powerful yet elegant - to me, this photo sums up why I love Arabs and what they are all about. And what a cracking jockey for getting such a super performance out of her horse! I do hope she recovers quickly from her accident, and good luck with her ambitions in eventing!

Forgot to say - they came 7th out of a very strong class of 22 at this BHS Affiliated competition. Evie also got 3rd in the same competition on her part bred - Sparky (Vlacq Tinwe) her cracking little 13.2 dun gelding.
Taragun won the Pony Club show jumping recently and was 3rd at a Pony Club Pick a Cross Country Fence.
Thanks everyone for your lovely comments and you're absolutely right - this is what Arabs are all about!!

| Well done! The photo took me back to the eventing days with my stallion General Lee Gold - nerve-wracking, but great fun. Your mare is a wonderful advertisement for the breed; and it's lovely to see a child riding her so confidently. I was always too much of a wimp, and couldn't hold him cross-country, so my stallion was evented by a big strong bloke: this photo puts me to shame - I should have tried to do it myself! Congratulations to all of you! |

Hey Libby - Tari will be competing at the Nationals this year as part of N Staffs show jumping and dressage team. It would be lovely to meet up and have a "Team Photo" of "TEAM TARAGUN" - you, Tari and Evie (with Lisa of course).
Isn't it lovely that so many people have said what a lovely mare she is - you must be so proud of her Libby - don't suppose you're breeding any others are you??????? |

| Taretta had a filly by Imad last year who is glorious,and not for sale .we have a half brother for sale out of our eldest stallion Ma'an .Please e mail me for further info or i might get into trouble in a minute for advertising on the boards!!!!
