Hi can anyone tell me more about the purebred mare - Tikis Tiffany 1989 (Flaming Streak 1978 (IBN Kontiki 1972) / Riflanaby sharlene 1979) I have never heard of this breeding but am told it is from the us, I cant find the dams side on all breed pedigree. Is this classed as American breeding or something else like Egyptian etc? Thanks

Tikis Tiffany is from a good sprinting family in the US where they usually race on the dirt. Her daughter Khulan won a 5 furlong sprint handicap last season and I think Mawared was placed racing in the UK.
Vert Olive was European Champion Sprinter and won many top class races inc. the Group 1 Zaabeel Stakes in the UK. He is owned by HH Sheikh Hamdan / Shadwell Stud but is standing at Larkinglass Farm (Liz Harrington) this season. I've got a mare due to him on Sunday. Vert Olive has sired many good races horses in the UK including The Vertuous Crusader, Olivphaya (listed winner), Kolver (Group 2 winner) & Aljard (Group 2 Juvenile winner).
