I am searching for photos / info on the two mares Cassada (Sahran x Castanea) and her dam Castanea (Stargard x Safara). I think they may be bred by Miss Evans.
If anyone can help I'd be most grateful - I really have been searching for a long time
My very good friend Cheryl Logan was Castanea's last owner; Cheryl had her for several years until she very sadly broke a leg leaping around her stable (in her 20s then). While Cheryl owned her she produced twin filly foals and Castanea and the foals were pictured on the front of Horse & Hound (yes really, a pure bred Arab on H&H cover!). Cheryl also remembers Cassada - and thinks she went abroad. She's not sure if she has any pictures but is going to have a look.
Thank you so much - that would be wonderful!!! It is very nice to hear from someone who knew them. I'm making a picture pedigree for some horses that have Cashmir quiet close up, so these, his female family, are important to understand how he came to be such a great horse.
