Just wondered if anyone out there knows what happened to this stallion?He's the sire of my gelding,but after Rosthwaite stud closed in the nineties I don't know what became of him-I certainly don't see his name featuring in as many pedigrees now.Also does anyone out there know any of his offspring that have had ridden success?Any piccies would be appreciated if anyone has them!

According to the Data source he was exported to the United Arab Emirates in 1996, & he seems to have a lot of stock registered out there!
Jane79 that posts on here, is bringing her grandson out in the Novice ridden gelding classes this year! - he is called Azif
Theses are his UK registered stock - cant say i recognise any of them from the ridden rings?

Thanks Jayne thats certainly given me a lot to go at on the pedigree site!I think,from that list,people may remember Az Pasha?He was successful as a ridden gelding about 10 years ago!I remember him cos he's blood brother to my boy(Az Sirius-gelding,not stallion as on list)and was given as an example of what I could acheive!!
I had noticed Azif on Jane's profile,will have to keep an eye out for them if I go to some shows this summer.I was hoping to do the novice ridden gelding classes myself this year but time,money and transport are proving problematic!I should at least get to some as spectator though.
Taylor,I will have a look at that,I remember Az Sadik as a youngster,will be nice to see his kiddies!

| Sorry,misread your post-didn't realise it was Az Sadik himself!He looks so different,nothing like my boy(except the colouring)but a lot like his mum. |
