Hi Porche I have only just seen this post . Yes I bred Versace he is by El Rashid and out out Ambassador's Rashinka . He was born a black liver chestnut and was reg his colour as he didn't show any grey untill 2 yrs . He was a real character and people that new him whilst he was with me loved is personality . He would chase me round the field follow me everywhere . He used to dance on his back legs at a command . What Sonny our stable name for him was best known for was his flamboyant movement he was incredible . I used him as a stallion and he did produce some nice foals . I decided to geld Sonny as a 6yr old I backed him and rode him out on the roads round my area in South Yorks and he was a brilliant ride . I remember taking him up around Barnborough through Harlington and alway finish off with a 1 1/2 mile gallop back along the river bank back to my yard . He was really good and very well behaved . I sold him to the first person who came when I advertised him for sale , her name was Beverley she was from Batley and he was to be for her daughter to do some ridden and maybe Endurance . I heard she wasn't at all what she seemed and her yard had a bad case of strangles and Sonny was very ill . Then I heard he was sold a couple of times and that he wasvery naughty ( not the sonny we had ) so I don't know what went wrong . Tell your friend she may contact me anytime but evenings is best say around 9pm , my email address is
