Posted - 30 Aug 2018 : 8:39:36 PM HI I haven't been on here for ages. I bought a second hand saddle about 4 years ago and had it fitted by a saddler. I had it checked and reflocked last year. About 2 months ago it started to slip and I had it checked and it was said to be ok by a different saddle fitter and McTimoney practitioner. It has still been slipping so I got a physio who is also a saddle fitter. She was appalled and said that it is too long and extends beyond the last rib of my arab and has caused her a lot of pain, which she has not demonstrated when ridden apart from last Sunday. My question is should a saddle extend further back than the last rib? I think I know the answer already, but if so it means that both the saddle fitters are not fitting saddles properly which seems very bizarre. Thanks
