One if the hardest posts I have ever written.
After 10 fun, loving and just simply amazing years together, with the heaviest if hearts I did goodbye to my old friend on Thursday night.
Never a sick or sorry day despite his years and still looking great, he laid down and told me to let him go. Only the day before he was out bucking like a devil!
I spent a perfect hour laid quietly beside him before the deed was done - he was in no pain, just very, very tired.
The yard is just too quiet now, don't think it will ever be the same
I am left with his two amazing daughters Aanyarah (Nazika) and Rashara (Rohara Faberge) who will carry on his name here in time.

So sorry for your loss, it is good to know that he told you it was time. I'm trying to prepare my friend for the goodbye that I fear is getting closer and I keep saying she'll know. Run free Rashid xx |

So sorry to hear this but what a lucky boy he was to have had 10 wonderful years with you.

So sorry for your loss, he was a lovely stallion. I remember reading about how you rescued him from York Sales all those years ago.

I remember you getting/rescuing him from York sales all those years ago. He had a fabulous ten years with you. So sad to lose him, I am glad he was a good age and that you have his two daughters.... RIP Rashid |

So very sad, but he had a peaceful and loving end to a life full of love and happiness, and that is the best we can ask for our old friends. Heartfelt sympathy. xx |
