Last weekend I took my 5 year old, Pip - TLC Phasion (Ferrari x HS Pasionara) to his first show and mine. It was only a local show but I thought it would be good for his education. Well he was an angel and took everything in his stride from bathing to traveling to the show atmosphere. I thought it would be quiet but oh no it was very busy!
There wasn't any Arabian classes so I plumped for In-Hand Best Gelding, Future Star and the Pure Breeds class.
Well he only blooming won Best Gelding against some lovely cobs and Hunter types, the judge said she was a cob person through and through but Pip was so stunning he had to win. Yippee!
Then into the Future Star and he came second to the horse that ended up winning the In-Hand Championship.
Then finally the Pure Breeds which he won against a mixture of lovely breeds. To say I am a very proud mummy is an understatement, I haven't stopped smiling since!    |

Pip is my first youngster and I don't know what we will end up doing. I fancied doing a few pleasure rides next year as he loves hacking but didn't even think about showing him as I have never shown before. We will have to see what Pip wants to do. |

Great result Firelight, and such a worthy cause and some good lessons taught to your youngster into the bargain Looking forward to pictures if and when you manage, took me ages to learn and the help of two members on here before i could manage |

Thank you, the show was in Doncaster and was a charity show to raise funds for the local RDA group. It had a fantastic turnout and raised £1200 after costs. |

Wow, that is fantastic. What a pair of stars you two are. You are quite right to be very proud of what you both achieved. Where was the show?
