Glad everyone's enjoying the blog, loving doing it.
Endurance is such great fun, you set your own goals, your own competitiveness if you like, do as much or as little as you can/like/want.
Future posts include a ride report on the European Champs in Most, Czech, a soon to be novice endurance horse doing her first pleasure ride and a post about my youngster.

Hi Marth615,
I have a family too and am constantly juggling horses with family commitments,like riding at 5.30am regularly in the summer months,but endurance is very possible at the lower end,even with limited time. It's such fun,with great people in the sport and perfect opportunities for families to feel involved and 'part of the team'too. There is no pressure to go to lots of rides unless you are aiming for trophies/qualifications,and so can be a great sport for a Mum!

Fab blog!! As 'beginners' in the world of endurance it's inspiring to read about the experiences of true enduro folks 
Downloaded the 101 book on my Kindle..it's a great read for the unh'educated like myself 
(I was traumatised by a 5am start for Delamere last weekend...never mind 2.45am - Ninja was simply stunned!) |

Angela, I'd LOVE to. I even have a lovely arab mare! But my family barely releases me long enough to go on a long hack..... :( |

Thanks for the kind comments, love doing blogs.
Will be updating it with antics of my young Endurance horse as I go, just breaking him at the moment, but hoping one day he'll do that illustrious 160km in one day! |
