Posted - 20 Apr 2013 : 9:14:31 PM It looks like my daughter is going to take the ginja ninja to their first showjumping comp away from our yard.... any advise on how to make it the most boring thing EVER so ponio stays calm !
We can get a little bit bouncy when we get excited , so I want her to stay as calm as possible... and having not been to anywhere away from the yard I don't want either of them to feel overwhelmed.
At the moment plan is to get there early so ponio can have a wander round and get used to the atmosphere, then I've said for them to just do as much as feels comfortable.
Any other advise for keeping all of us from having a meltdown!! Thanks! |

Posted - 20 Apr 2013 : 11:14:03 PM Get there early and in plenty of time to ride your pony in and warmed up before jumping , as rushing about , winds every one up!! make sure your rider has walked the course beforehand and knows where their going !!! |
