By the look into your showing section here in this forum I noticed, that you have much more shows offered compared to Germany.
I do not know if you offer special shows with non professional trainers allowed but I guess, quite often your (ridden) horses have to compete against professional show horses.
Often in the same show class.
What do you think who is doing better in these classes ?
The ridden ones or the showstars ?
Here in Germany I can think of maybe 2 or 3 Stallions that are doing both successfully. Being successful in ridden classes and show classes.
Don`t get me wrong, maybe there are a bit more, that do not come into my mind at the moment !
But I know a few owners who say that they do not show the ridden stallions versus the showstars as they would not win anything.
What is your opinion or your experience ? |

Posted - 16 Apr 2013 : 8:19:28 PM I don't think I understand the question which is possibly why you've had lots of views but no replies (or that it is just too contentious). To clarify do you mean:-
In-hand horses who are not ridden against in-hand horse who are ridden? Or in-hand horses shown by professional handlers against amateur handlers? Or ridden horses shown by amateur producers against professional producers?
I can't think of any other combination. Regardless of which you mean, you are likely to start a brawl.
Enjoy! |
