Posted - 18 Feb 2013 : 8:46:34 PM Not sure whether I should mention this but I've just been flicking through the online catalogue for Friday and there's another Arab listed
Jazar “Pedro” Arab Horse Society Grey Gelding 3 yrs 15hh Sire Angelo Re (USA) Enzo (USA) Angel Bey Lud (BR) Dam Sharea Nile Bequest (USA) Chopard Passport Number: 8260 4400 0026 947 Pedro is a very well bred Arab. He has the PADRON PSYCHE in his breed lines. He will be 4 yrs old at the end of April. This horse is very laid back, very friendly and good in all ways. 100% in traffic. Is not yet backed but has had bridle, saddle, roller and side reins on with no problems. This horse will take no breaking, he is so laid back!

Posted - 20 Feb 2013 : 1:21:30 PM That's fantastic news, I am the new owner (one year) of Pedros mum Sharea and I felt so concerned about him, although I've never met him! Sharea is a lovely mare and I'm so pleased that her son has found himself a good home. Would also love to see some photos. |

Posted - 20 Feb 2013 : 08:54:20 AM Hurray!!!!
I'm so pleased (and so excited waiting for the pics!)
Horrible situation for the old owners to find themselves in, it's one of my worst fears. Thank goodness they didn't have to send their boy to the sales and know he's going to a nice home now. |

Posted - 20 Feb 2013 : 07:34:55 AM I know there has been concerns about this chap, understandably so, as the sales is no place for a youngster let alone one of our beloved arabs, or any other horse for that matter.
After much effort and with great help I managed to contact the owner who finds themself in an unbearable situation ans was distraught at the thought of Pedro going to sales..I for one will not have judged them on this. But I am pleased to say we reached a deal and I now am the proud owner of this young boy! He is not going to the sales. All I have to do is arrange transport ASAP to bring him home. But he is safe, and he will be part of our horsey family!

Posted - 19 Feb 2013 : 4:54:33 PM HI I am the owner of Angelo Re and the breeder of Jazar or Pedro as he is affectionately know has called me and told me about this thread she is an older lady and is know distraught at the thought of this lovely chap going to a sale. He is as the ad says very laid back and a fantastic mover he would make anyone a brilliant riding or show gelding his confirmation is spot on. If anyone want to get any info on this horse and hopefully rescue him from this terrible situation please email me, call or any other means and I will fill you in. The breeder will also be very relieved

There was an arab stud last year offering purebred youngstock on preloved from £600, there is a QH stud offering broodmares and youngstock really cheap through WH magazine - if conventional advertising does not reduce stocking levels then often a sale is the next option. |
