Ok, not such an interesting thread I'm afraid but it's a problem that has me stumped, and knowing how many people have synthetic tack here, this seemed the best place to ask for advice.

I bought the Perfeq beta biothane S Hack bridle a while ago but after many months of bitless riding I have decided to stop for a while, not only due to needing more brakes as he gets fitter, also schooling, which riding bitless I find quite awkward.

I ride with a Neue Schule loose ring snaffle so after discarding the hackamore I now find I don't have a noseband. Not only can I not find the right noseband sold separately, it's going to be tricky to add to this bridle. The browband has a double loop each end, but both loops are taken with the headpiece/cheekpieces, and also the separate throatlash.
For people who might have done this already do you double like on an ordinary leather bridle, put the noseband through one of loops already in use, but then there's three straps going over his poll and also three on either side of his face. In trying to keep tack light and minimal this wasn't what I wanted.
If all else fails I will just have to buy another bridle, but it would be a waste of money to if I can convert this one.
Apologies again for the boringness of this thread, I was hoping someone might have dealt with this before and point me in the right direction, Carole :)

Thanks for your replies.

Callisto - yes I could stay nosebandless, it really isn't an issue, I just like nosebands to finish a bridle.

Quarabian - ah yes, well spotted I too have had some long conversations about bitless!!

Judith S - Yes you can tell from the design how it works with the Hackamore in place, I know this having previously used an English hackamore on an English bridle, it tilts getting near the eyes the more you increase pressure. What I love about the bridle is that fact that is does show his face so much more, being that he has a lovely dish and it's not in any way covered. Maybe I'll just leave it as it is Thanks all.

The S-Hack bridle was a design that Steve pinched from me many years ago. It is not that easy to convert it to a bit as the design was made to keep the cheek pieces away from the eye when the hackamore was engaged with the reins.

I presume you mean conversion and not conversation which is a shame because I have some lovely conversations with Smokey riding bitless.

I agree with Callisto. Nosebands are not necessary unless you want to attach somethingso just go without for a while.

Why do you need a noseband? Or are you planning to ride with a flash or a dropped noseband, or attach a standing martingale? If you are just looking at adding a standard cavesson type noseband then I would leave it without, one less strap to get sweaty. I have often ridden without one, and the bridle is just as secure.

Buzz's biothane endurance bridle came from the States and doesn't have a browband, I've used it on him and Lily, both hacking and competing, and it hasn't been an issue, and they don't get sweaty foreheads
