Posted - 15 Oct 2012 : 11:53:47 AM I've been an occasional poster over the past few years and having been devastated by the loss of my beautiful Susie (Blue Sonnet) on Easter Sunday, I insisted that my horse owning days were over....
Thanks to the kindness of the people at the stud I bought Susie from and the determination of my husband that I should not remain horseless, I'd now like to introduce the lovely Martha to Arabian Lines

Posted - 15 Oct 2012 : 12:52:34 PM Lol, Caryn - i should have put a bit more info.
She is straight Spanish, full name Chiquita bint GG Maximo, 14 years young, and was lightly shown in ridden classes earlier this year. I plan to toddle about a bit on her and just to love her. My husband is hoping to find a big soft beastie to ride with me, but despite having lessons, he is very novicey in the saddle (although he is amazing on the ground and in the stable) so it might prove to be a bit of a task to find something suitable for him.
I've had her for 5 weeks now but have only just taken some maternity leave to spend some serious time with her. My ever-patient husband is taking 2 weeks paternity leave later this month. She is an absolute darling with excellent manners, occasional diva moments and a cheeky glint in her eye - just a big pony really!! |
