.....when one receives a message like the one below...no, not the big win at HOYS or the Nationals but a very happy home producer who appreciates her horse and what they has achieved together "Brett" is our former homebred Anglo Stallion SUNRAY SCELEBRITY, whom we lost, after twenty four amazing years together!!
BNC and AHS PREMIUM PERFORMANCE SIRE SUNRAY SCELEBRITY
" Well what a season, he (Sunseeker Of Wildmore)just gets better and better!!!! Did UK showing and in a very strong PBA class we got 3rd!!!!! (against some very well known and younger horses) then final show of the season he went overall ridden champ.
Tally for the year:- 37 rosettes (5 best turned out awards) 16 trophys and a sash!!!
How much I adore this horse is unbelievable, I owe him the world, he owes me nothing.
My little girl gets on him, brushes him and strokes him when he is eating and he never so much as flickers an ear.
what a wonderful son Brett has bred, he is amazing" xxx
SUNSEEKER OF WILDMORE (Sunray Scelebrity/Wooderton Diana)
Scelebrity has left us an amazing legacy through his many successful offspring both under saddle and as breeding stock, producing their own Champions for us to enjoy

What makes breeding worthwhile....well having the pleasure of bringing a new life into the world, educating them, enjoying them, then eventually riding them, there's something special about riding your homebred horses! If you sell a horse you bred, it's always lovely to get updates, even if the horse is just destined to be a family pet. |

I just love seeing my babies out and doing well be it in the show ring or at home with a loving owner. I always then go and tell mum how clever their babies are! I am lucky to have Kharidian who sends me photos and video of Chips as he grows and learns - it really makes you feel proud!

To me , what made breeding worthwhile was when Haniqra bred by us ( Hanif - silver Wings Quality ) came 2nd in a class of 20 yearling fillies , at the SWGAHS show in 1992, and the commentator reads out the results , owned AND BRED BY ( my mum ) Mrs P Evans, or they compete sucessfully and receive such awards as Taragun did ( Shogun - Taretta ) winning her WAHO award for performance ( bred by us, but not owned anymore ). such awards are very rewarding !!      |

What beautiful horses - I think Brett is stunning! His conformation looks perfect (in my eyes) & what a wonderful colour. You must have been so proud of him. |

You would never have said he was only fifteen months he looks like a fully grown horse almost, he will make a lovely large riding horse, which is what i hope to do with my warmblood next year. |

I have always loved your breeding Babs , you have breed some stunning horses over the years, and yes it makes it all worthwhile when you see them doing so well and happy and loved in their new homes. |

pinkyboots....yes we have experienced similar ourselves....Dam TB 15.3
Sire, Anglo 15.2....colt foal, tall at birth!! As a yearling he stood a full 15.2hh and got nicknamed the giraffe
Yes he has grown on and as a 3yr old now, he tops 16.1 and we anticipate he will end up full 16.2......shame as he is so Large Show Hack in type, but never mind, going to be a smashing Large Riding Horse/Cherif contender Ironically his full blood sibling is 15.2 as a five year old!!

Both gorgeous horses I am sure your both very proud of them and so you should be, Babs i love looking at your horses i could take any one of them home,in my opinion they are the perfect example of what a part bred and anglos should be i have always wanted one maybe it will happen one day. |

and its all true, I will put the picture on of Scarlett sat on him (not even 2)...........he is just an absolute pleasure, and everytime I look at him he takes my breath away.........I am so lucky to own him!
