Posted - 01 Oct 2012 : 7:01:24 PM For those who have read about Kaotic aka Arnie, whom we rescued from an uncertain future, back in April this year and aged 16yrs
Having formerly raced for several years and used for pleasure riding, Arnie had changed homes several times, before being entrusted into our care, as his owner no longer wanted him...due to several issues!!
Arnie has totally settled here at Sunray and feel sure he remembers living here for almost four years, when he was a youngster. He does not present any of the problems/issues we were advised and is in fact, the most charming and affectionate horse...a joy to own and `do` the bonus being he is also a great ride!!
I make no apologies for the photo overload.....as Arnie has been shown for the first time ever....and really enjoyed being a Show Horse displaying perfect manners
At a local Charity Show in July...winning Open senior, open veteran and Champion of thirteen In-Hand Classes
Pics below at BAHPA Champs. 8th. September
gained 3rd`s in Senior Mare/Gelding and Veteran in Championships
Back home and going for a hack...via muddy pools...one happy horse!!
Arnie`s Sire: Zircon Nazeer and Dam: Damelia and he is 68% Crabbet and very much my type of Pure Arabian

Posted - 02 Oct 2012 : 2:14:09 PM Well I love the second photo. They say the eyes are the windows of the soul. Well Arnie must have a lovely soul judging by those gorgeous eyes. It is incredible that this boy has been in so many homes, but it is so nice that he has found his way home Babs. And yes I am absolutely sure he must remember your place. Horses have amazing memories. I do so love stories with a happy ending. |

Posted - 02 Oct 2012 : 12:50:38 AM He's a beautiful boy and he looks so happy. I don't think horses forget very much at all - they certainly don't forget each other or people, so I am sure he is delighted to be home again, which is why he has settled so well. Congratulations on his showing success as well - he deserves it! |
