Posted - 08 Sep 2014 : 9:41:57 PM Thanks Linda! She will be Harry's mare ready to start when his beloved Sealeah Myranda approaches her 20s. She is very closely related on the damline to my (Shakmari Gold) Bryn (Recently I found out that Tina bred Bryn's mum) and Ganamede has been very highly recommended by fellow endurance riders. Tina is very knowledgeable and her bloodlines have been proven in every generation so.... Insh'Allah! |

Posted - 03 Jul 2014 : 2:19:36 PM I spent yesterday with Tina and she has not given up but has cut back. The adults and babies are lovely as usual. She has a lovely 2 yr old gelding who would make a great performance horse. Just so 'scopey'. |

Posted - 17 Jun 2014 : 10:48:33 PM Its so blindingly obvious but I think often over-looked and made a huge difference to how I approach riding and handling every horse I come into contact with.
When I was about to leave Stourvale with Mali (who was 6 months old and my first ever youngster and first ever Arab) I was hugely over-awed and terrified I'd bitten off more than I could chew. Tinas parting words to me were 'Remember he's a baby, he doesn't know what he should be scared of so if you aren't worried nor will he be'.
That sentence totally changed my mind set and from that moment rather than thinking 'Oh no there's a scary oil tanker/herd of pigs/flappy tarpaulin he's going to freak' I've thought 'Great there's an oil tanker/pigs/tarp, come on Mal lets go investigate'.
He is now a joy to hack out (if I do say so myself ) and as I broke him and rode him away on my own (yup first time for me doing that too!) I honestly think its the positive relaxed attitude Tina instilled with those wise words that made the whole venture a success. |

Posted - 15 Jun 2014 : 07:36:41 AM I had a fabulous Part bred by Indrani. I spent yesterday afternoon tracing descendants via allbreed as feel about ready to have another now. Stourvale Bourbon Rex looked so lovely - sadly there don't appear to be many of his line about. Faymouse - I remember your photo of Dorani - lovely mare.
