Posting this thread on behalf of a friend. My husband was asked to collect and transport the above gelding, which he did on 24th March. The lady,(Michelle) who had just purchased him from the Breeder, asked for PADDY to be delivered to Goodrest Farm Stables, Goodrest Lane, Wythall, Birmingham
It now turns out she only paid a deposit....and.....the Breeder cannot contact her and has since found she has moved PADDY, we believe to be in the Pumphouse Lane, Redditch Area. My friend has called the Police who have advised the Breeder she has the right to locate and collect and retain PADDY until this person pays in full for him.
Please if you know of this person (Michelle) or if PADDY has recently been moved onto your premises, please private message me and help his Breeder reclaim him as she is VERY concerned about his future welfare

Posted - 29 Apr 2012 : 10:03:12 AM So glad he has been found. On a totally different tack I lived on the Kings Norton border in my childhood (a VERY long time ago)and still have a brother living there. I was recently up there and had nearly forgotten how pretty it is.So close to Birmingham and yet so close to countryside. I have often driven down the lane that is a short cut to Becketts Farm shop and M42 from my brothers and I pass the Tack shop.I always mean to stop and have a nosey around but am usually either dashing to avoid traffic heading home to Sussex or tired after the 190 mile trip to my brothers! |

Posted - 28 Apr 2012 : 4:43:30 PM Good News....We have Found Paddy and he has been returned to his Owner/Breeder
On behalf of his very grateful owner, we wish to thank all those who have PM`d and phoned to offer information as to his possible location. He had been moved twice and was tracked down, up a secluded lane which could not have been seen from the road. Fortunately his injuries proved superficial (though could have been much more serious) as he was apparently turned into a field, and chased by other horses over barbed wire fences and was tangled, having to be cut out, to free him.
Special thanks to Wythall Horse Watch and Fur and Feather Paddy is now happily back home and fortunately seems OK considering the stress and trauma he has been subjected to since 24th March.
