It's taken over a week for me to be able to write this, as we sadly lost our gorgeous boy on Friday 13th April 2012.
Pasha was my mum's whole life since she brought him from Angie 18 years ago and we are all utterly devastated and completely heartbroken! He really was one of the family and is missed by everyone, including Shesky who he has been a big brother to for the past 3 years.
He will never be replaced! He is irreplaceable and was truly one in a million! During his life he had competed successfully in-hand, raced and sired a couple of children with Angie. With my mum he explored most of the North Downs - they would often go out all day long!!! With me he enjoyed a successful showing and dressage career and we even did a spot of le trec!
His absolute favourite was hacking and especially through woods! He loved popping logs and natural fences and often led his stable friends over obstacles when out and about!
When he was diagnosed with Cushings in October 2008, he fought back, never giving in and once over it in the Spring of 2009, remained sound and enjoyed his 'retirement' even giving Shesky a run for his money in the buckaroo gallop and spin game they liked to play in the field together!
I feel so privileged to have had this special horse in my life and speak for my whole family in thanking him for the happiest years of our lives with him! Every day was a complete pleasure and we are only so sad that it has now come to an end!
Please the next time you have a drink, raise a glass to our special boy and I know he will be beaming down on all of us wishing us well!

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your beautiful boy. It is so wonderful to achieve such a great partnership with a great horse and then so heartbreaking when you have to say goodbye.
I know the grief you are experiencing. I hope your many happy memories will help to ease your pain.

What a lovely horse and what a lovely relationship he had with your mum, she must miss him so very much. He sounds terrific from your tribute and so does your mum - together they were brilliant.

Oh no! I am shocked to read this sad news. I have Asran Amiah,a Pasha baby. I'm stunned and will raise a glass and toast her Dad with her tomorrow. RIP gorgeous man. |

So sorry to hear about Pasha. I dont go on here very much these days but I remember all of your posts about the struggles you have had with Cushings and lami with both him and Shesky. They are both very lucky to have you because I know that you have tried everything to help them through their struggles and box rest.
