Posted - 13 Apr 2012 : 5:07:34 PM Hi I'm puzzled!! Over winter my mare's mane has started falling on the nearside. In all the years I've been her slave (13) it has only ever fallen to the offside? The only difference this year is that she's been able to winter out (unrugged, but with access to a barn)instead of having to be stabled at night. Minimal grooming apart from to check her legs etc, and I've avoided her mane altogether, other than an occassional spray with a conditioner. Any suggestions? And why after all these years? Not that it bothers me in the slightest, I'm just curious. |

Maybe not quite overnight. But it definitely looks as though it's always been that way, too |

But the whole of her mane has just changed sides |
