Posted - 30 Jan 2012 : 12:29:56 AM we used to live in Maplehurst, west Sussex, and when i was a young child i used to go to a Riding school, run by a lady called Mrs Gaymond ( who had a bad leg if i remember rightly, bless her ) this would have been in the 70's early 80's, this would have been on Prings hill going towards Plummers Plane and Cowfold. I cannot find anything on Google, and when i found it on Google Earth, its all residential now. If ANYONE vaguely remembers this would be very cool!
I can even remember alot of the ponies names 30 years later!!

Posted - 30 Jan 2012 : 11:19:40 PM ...Years ago horse shows were held at Cowfold cos i can remember hacking there once with my sister in a thunder storm and a lady called Miss Price " Pricey" used to take her students there, blimey this was YEARS ago!!!

Posted - 30 Jan 2012 : 10:06:33 PM There is a big livery yard near there called Ivories Livery? Or further on is Hillcrest...or nearish was Winterpic, where they used to hold horse shows.
